Our headbands are made from 100% silk twill, woven and printed in France, then hand-rolled in our workshop in Lyon. They measure 90 or 120 cm in length, are flexible enough to conform to the shape of your head, and sturdy enough to hold their shape all day long.
Tied by hand, they’re never worn the same way twice. Here are a few different ways to start.
L'Enroulé (The Wrapped)
The simplest method, and the one that holds best. Wrap the strap around the handle, tightening it with each turn and slightly overlapping the previous turn. Finish with a flat knot, tucking it under the last loop.
L'Enroulé long (The Long Wrapped)
Tie a knot at the start of the loop, leaving enough length for the first petal. Then follow the same principle as the “Enroulé” technique along the entire length: space the turns evenly, and leave enough to form the second petal at the end.
La Tresse (The Braid)
The strip is folded into a narrow band and then braided onto the handle in two even strands. This braiding style looks best on long handles.
La Tresse Longue
The same technique, applied a little higher up on the handle. The pattern then takes up more space. It's a matter of taste, rather than functionality.
Care
Dry clean only. Untie the drawstring before storing the bag, and keep it flat to prevent permanent creases.
